e. What is your overall impression of the photographer? What did you like or not like? I feel that the photographer was originally aiming for a negative portfolio but slacked off because happy moments tend to tell a better story. I like the emotional connections some of the photos portrayed.

b. What do you see as strengths? Do you see any weaknesses? Good action shots, good angles, every subject is doing something. Weakness: too much photoshop

To decide the winner, the judges looked for emotional
attachments, uniqueness, color (black & white), theme of portfolio
(sports), diversity, and good editing.

List three problems that the judges noted with the portfolio – Judges did not portray emotion towards the photos. Just “ok”. d. List two things the judges like- The judges enjoyed the fact that they could tell what was happening in the photos and the moment it was taken. e. What is your overall impression of the photographer? What did you like or not like? The photographer was great at showing a background story for the story portion, and just showing emotions in the subjects in general. a. Name of photographer – Melissa Golden b. General focus of portfolio (photoj, sports, stories, etc.)- The young or the old, youthful or aging c. List three problems that the judges noted with the portfolio – Lack of interest, photos didn’t portray enough about the moment, not enough details in the photos to cover background information. d. List two things the judges like- Use of the black and white filter, good positioning and focusing with portraits

e. What is your overall impression of the photographer?
What did you like or not like? I liked the angles the photographer used to
take these photos. Also, she did a really great job with her photo stories
and showing a sequence of events.
